Yes. The basic custom spin wheel is free and includes editable entries, themes, local save, share links, and result history.

Can I use the wheel in OBS or Streamlabs?

Yes. You can add the wheel page as a browser source in OBS or Streamlabs. Dedicated overlay controls are planned for Pro.

Are saved wheels private?

Saved wheels in the free prototype are stored locally in your browser. Share links can include wheel entries, so avoid private data in public links.

SpinWheelTools is designed to keep the free wheel simple and privacy-conscious. This page explains what the current prototype stores and what future production features may require.

Local wheel storage

When you save a wheel in the free version, the data is stored in your browser using local storage. It is not uploaded to a SpinWheelTools server in this prototype.

Share links

Share links can include your wheel title, entries, and theme inside the URL. Do not put private or sensitive names in a wheel link that you plan to share publicly.

Advertising

The free version reserves advertising placements. When ads are enabled, ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Analytics

A production version may use privacy-aware analytics to understand page visits, language demand, and tool usage. Sensitive wheel entries should not be sent as analytics events.
